We are always working on improving our transaction detection functionality so that your emails are sorted correctly and that the tool discovers emails related to a certain transaction (to avoid you having to manually add emails to a folder). We’re sorry you didn’t feel like our customer service team handled this as you would have liked, however, even though our policy is clear on this, we did provide you with a partial refund. Therefore, we provide you with links to unsubscribe from the service when reminding you about the upcoming renewal. Unfortunately, sometimes inboxes get disconnected due to a password change and if we unsubscribed people based on the inbox connected state, many people would unexpectedly lose access. We also make it explicitly clear that uninstalling Folio from your inbox will not cancel your subscription. We do feel it’s important to be transparent with our users so we make sure to email our users multiple times prior to renewal, as you pointed out.
